Classic Shaker & Calacatta

The brief was a family kitchen with the presence of a formal room: traditional in its detailing, generous in its proportions, and built to be used every day.

We designed painted in-frame shaker doors in a warm ivory, finished with slim brass T-bar handles. The island is wrapped in a Calacatta-style stone with book-matched waterfall ends and seats four on upholstered stools, while the cooker canopy is faced in the same slab so the room reads as one material story. A tall bank of cabinetry hides the laundry: washer and dryer stacked behind doors, with a pull-out sink shelf above.

Beyond the kitchen, the same joinery language runs into the living area, where a bespoke media wall frames the television between display shelving and cupboards. The dressing room takes the opposite approach: floor-to-ceiling closets in a deep navy, raised-panel doors and brass hardware, lit to feel like a boutique rather than a cupboard.
