Cream & Calacatta
A cream handleless kitchen with Calacatta-look surfaces and a dining island framed by views of the Burj Khalifa.
The project
An apartment kitchen with a view that deserved a clean backdrop. We chose cream super-matt handleless fronts, a Calacatta-effect stone for the worktops and splashback, and black for everything that is not a surface: ovens, sink, tap and track lighting.
The L-shaped run keeps the working triangle tight, while the island carries a stone dining top for four so guests can sit with the cook and the skyline. Storage is where this kitchen earns its keep: a corner pull-out, a full-height larder pull-out, and drawer organisers keep every tool within reach.
