A warm taupe handleless kitchen with a white quartz island that extends into a full-length dining table for six.
The project
A family kitchen built for entertaining. The clients wanted one surface for cooking, homework and dinner, so the white quartz island runs the length of the room and cantilevers into a dining table with seating for six.
The cabinetry is a warm taupe in a super-matt finish with recessed grip rails, which keeps the lines clean and the fronts easy to keep clean. A wall of glass-fronted display cabinets with internal lighting sits above the working run, and the gas hob and black composite sink are set into the island so the cook faces the room.
Storage is engineered as carefully as the surfaces: a breakfast pantry with internal lighting and sockets, deep drawers with solid-wood cutlery inserts, and a tall integrated fridge-freezer that disappears into the cabinetry.
